Her Telden Her Dilden
20/04/2026
This week on Her Telden, Her Dilden, we embark on an eclectic and exciting journey that moves from the rebellious, powerful storm of blues rock to the soaring, razor-sharp tones of jazz, and finally to the majestic textures of Western classical music inspired by the visual arts. We open the program with the fierce and passionate energy of The Allman Brothers Band’s legendary cult track “Whipping Post,” delving into the depths of its improvisational brilliance and boundary-pushing structure. We then shift our course to the dazzling, rhythm-driven world of Maynard Ferguson—the king of the trumpet and master of the high register—exploring the immense power of music where technical virtuosity meets expressive force. In the finale, we turn to Western classical works composed under the inspiration of paintings and visual art, where music is shaped by the strokes of a brush; blending, on one hand, the modern and dynamic spirit reflected in the sounds of The Allman Brothers Band and Ferguson, and on the other, the harmonic depth of classical compositions nourished by a visual memory.
